Generac Appoints Niccolò Borracchini as International Executive Vice President Following Leadership Transition

In a significant leadership transition, Generac Holdings Inc. has recently announced the elevation of Niccolò Borracchini to the position of Executive Vice President – International. This promotion comes in the wake of the retirement of Paolo Campinoti, who has been a stalwart in the company’s leadership for over three decades. Borracchini, a key player in the Pramac organization since 2015, will now oversee operations outside of the United States and Canada under the Generac and Pramac brands.

Borracchini will report directly to Aaron Jagdfeld, the company’s chairman, president, and CEO. He has been entrusted with the critical responsibility of driving Generac's international strategy, which is essential in a marketplace that increasingly values energy solutions and sustainability.

The importance of this role cannot be overstated, especially as Borracchini steps into the shoes of Paolo Campinoti, who played a pivotal role in transforming Pramac into a globally recognized brand following its acquisition by Generac in 2016. Under Campinoti’s leadership, Pramac established a robust presence across multiple regions, including EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. His retirement marks the end of an era, yet he will remain with the company to provide strategic counsel, ensuring that Generac continues to benefit from his extensive expertise.

Aaron Jagdfeld underscored Campinoti's contributions, stating, "He built the commercial relationships and international brand that define our Pramac business today." This acknowledgment highlights the significance of maintaining continuity while also paving the way for fresh leadership in Borracchini.

Borracchini's journey within the Pramac organization has been characterized by increasing responsibilities and a commitment to globalization. From his start as Corporate General Manager to his promotion to Senior Vice President – International in 2024, he has played an indispensable role in the integration of Pramac’s operations and its international growth strategy. This background is expected to aid him immensely as he now seeks to strengthen Generac's foothold on a global scale.

In his new capacity, Borracchini expressed his enthusiasm about taking on this expanded role: "I’m honored to step into this expanded role and to have the opportunity to build on the exceptional foundation that Paolo has created over more than three decades." He emphasized the importance of collaboration with international teams to foster growth and enhance customer relations. His vision is closely aligned with Generac's mission to "Power a Smarter World," reinforcing the strategic focus on innovation and sustainable energy solutions.

Before joining Pramac, Borracchini acquired valuable experience in private equity with MPVenture and at Emisys Capital, where he concentrated on mid-market investments spanning various sectors, including industrials, consumer, and media. His educational background is impressive; he holds a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Siena, both earned with magna cum laude honors. Furthermore, his international exposure includes studying at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany as part of his Erasmus program.

With a keen understanding of the dynamics at play in the international market and a strong foundational leadership experience, Niccolò Borracchini is poised to lead Generac’s global expansion into new regions and sectors, ensuring the company’s continued growth and success in the rapidly evolving energy landscape.

Generac, which was founded in 1959, has established itself as a leading designer and manufacturer of energy solutions worldwide. The company has expanded its product offerings to include not only power generation equipment but also energy storage systems and management devices. As it looks ahead, Generac remains committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance energy resilience and efficiency, which are increasingly critical in today’s world.

Overall, this leadership transition at Generac signifies not only a change in personnel but also an opportunity for continued growth and adaptation in the face of global energy challenges. Borracchini's appointment is a strategic move designed to harness both his expertise and the legacy of Campinoti, driving the organization into its next chapter of success.
