How to Enjoy Keets Mango

To get the most out of your Keets Mango, proper ripening is essential. Freshly harvested, these mangoes appear dusted with a white powder (known as the bloom) and are not immediately sweet. The mango requires 10 days to 2 weeks of ripening at room temperature, ideally at 20°C or warmer, away from direct sunlight.

Once ripe, transfer the mango to the refrigerator for 3 to 5 hours to enhance its flavor before serving.

Signs of Ripeness

When perfectly ripened, the bloom on the surface lessens, and the skin becomes softer. The flesh turns a yellowish hue and emits a delightful sweet fragrance, signaling it's ready to be enjoyed.
