Tokyo Work School: Your Path to Employment
The Tokyo Work Foundation, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is excited to announce the 2025 edition of its unique career training initiative, the
Tokyo Work School. Targeted at jobseekers aged between 30 and 54, this program is specially designed to assist those pursuing full-time employment in Tokyo. The program combines theoretical training focused on career design, followed by two months of practical work experience intended to prepare participants for proper employment.
Many jobseekers face challenges such as lacking experience as a full-time employee or having significant gaps in their work history. These constraints can lead to feelings of uncertainty and frustration during job searches. The Tokyo Work School aims to alleviate these concerns by encouraging participants to reflect on their career trajectories. Participants will discover their strengths and weaknesses, and through this self-assessment, they can set a clearer career direction while gaining essential work attitudes during their practical training.
Program Support
- - A dedicated job trainer will provide continuous support from the program enrollment, through the job search process, and into the workplace to ensure job retention.
- - For eligible participants, a Job Search Support Fund of ¥5,000 per day will be awarded during their internship.
