Goodwall and HP Collaborate to Enhance AI Skills Among Youth in Latin America

Goodwall and HP Partner to Empower Latin American Youth

In a significant move to support young people across Brazil and Latin America, Goodwall and HP Inc. have announced an expansion of their partnership, aligning their efforts with World Youth Skills Day. This collaboration aims to equip more youths with essential AI skills and HP's cutting-edge technology, thus empowering them to shape their own futures.

The initiative is part of Goodwall's flagship program, AI Fundamentals, designed to offer beginner-friendly AI education alongside practical challenges and hands-on experience with AI tools. The focus on hands-on learning is crucial, as it helps young learners not only understand the theoretical aspects of AI but also apply these skills in real-world scenarios.

Following the establishment of the NextGen AI Alliance—a coalition comprising Goodwall, HP, Microsoft, and Cognizant—this program seeks to expand access to AI education for the youth. Participants who excel in this initiative will have an opportunity to receive HP devices and solutions, granting them the tools to take action on their newfound skills through ventures, initiatives, or community impact projects.

Since its rollout in 2025, this program has made waves, facilitating AI learning for over 2 million young individuals across more than 180 countries, with upwards of 151,000 learners achieving HP-branded credentials. Notably, content is now set to be available in Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, further widening the reach and accessibility of the program.

With the rising demand for AI competency, as reported by the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, there is an expectation that about 39% of the core skills for workers will evolve by 2030. Skills related to AI and big data are projected to be among the fastest-growing, making education in this sector more crucial than ever.

Taha Bawa, the Co-founder and CEO of Goodwall, emphasized the partnership's goals: "Together with HP, we're ensuring that gifted young individuals have both the skills and the tools to connect with opportunities, maximizing their potential and creating societal impact. When learning and opportunities converge, innovators are better prepared to define their futures."

Michele Malejki, Global Head of Social Impact at HP Inc., added, "With the rapid evolution of the workforce, access to technology and vital skills will dictate participation and success in the future. HP is committed to bringing disconnected communities into this future by empowering individuals with essential tools for economic opportunity. This collaboration with Goodwall plays a pivotal role in our plan to benefit 150 million individuals by 2030."

In Brazil, Ricardo Kamel, Managing Director of HP Inc., highlighted the transformative power of education and technology access: "We've seen firsthand how technology and education can change lives. Our partnership with Goodwall builds on our long-standing commitment to enhancing digital inclusion, allowing more young people to develop AI skills and explore new career pathways with confidence."

Looking ahead, Goodwall and HP plan to introduce opportunities for HP employee volunteers to engage with young people via the Goodwall app. This initiative underscores the belief that education, innovation, and collaboration are key to fostering the next wave of change-makers.
