Blackview Unveils Their New Generation of Rugged Devices at IFA 2025

In a much-anticipated announcement, Blackview, a global leader in rugged mobile technology, will present its new product line at IFA 2025 in Berlin from September 5 to 9. The showcase includes not only robust smartphones but also innovative tablets, laptops, mini PCs, and smart accessories, all featuring groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence, satellite communication, and integrated projection technology.

Introducing the Flagship Model: XPLORE 2

The highlight of Blackview's presentation will undoubtedly be the brand-new XPLORE 2, designed for extreme conditions. This flagship model boasts a 6.73-inch HDR AMOLED display, one of the most advanced among rugged devices, and supports HDR10+ and 4K 60fps video playback. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 5G chipset, it offers a whopping 1 TB of high-speed UFS 4.0 storage, making it a powerhouse for those challenging outdoor scenarios.

In terms of photography, the XPLORE 2 is equipped with a versatile triple-camera system, which features a 50 MP Samsung® GN9 main sensor with dual optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS), a 20 MP night vision camera, as well as a stunning 50 MP front camera for high-quality video calls. To ensure users never run out of power, it includes a dual-cell 20,000 mAh battery complemented by 120W fast charging, providing reliable all-day performance, even in remote areas without network connectivity.

Adding to its innovative capabilities is Blackview’s Doke AI 2.0, which integrates the world's leading deep-thinking models for advanced reasoning abilities. This is further enhanced by four bespoke AI applications—Hi Doki, ImageX, VidGen, and Soundle—developed in-house to support intelligent interaction, image processing, video generation, and sound creation.

Satellite Communication Capability

Alongside the XPLORE 2, Blackview will also introduce its pioneering Satellite Communication system, the first of its kind in the industry. This feature allows users to maintain connectivity through images, voice clips, text messages, and location sharing even in areas without terrestrial networks. This is particularly revolutionary for users venturing into remote or harsh environments where traditional communication may fail.

Additional Innovations

The showcase won't stop there. Blackview will also unveil the XPLORE 1 transmitter, featuring a cutting-edge dual-band antenna (UHF + VHF) that provides reliable communication across varied terrains with a range of up to 22 km, paired with a 20 MP night vision camera to ensure safety in low-light conditions. Additionally, the Active 12 Pro will be introduced as the world’s first rugged 5G AI tablet, equipped with a 120-inch projector boasting a light output of 200 lm and 1080P resolution. It features a mega 30,000 mAh battery, dual camping lights of 400 lm, Wi-Fi 6E, and a PC mode.

For power users, there is also the MP100 Pro mini computer, powered by an Intel i9-12900HK, and the GamiBook 8 laptop featuring an AMD R7-7735HS processor and a 16-inch 16:10 display.
