Transforming Education with AI
This October, Yusuke Hatano, the CEO of Fourglobe Inc., will take the role of instructor in a groundbreaking educational initiative at Takasaki Economics University in Gunma Prefecture. The
MasterClass program is set to launch in the 2025 academic year as part of a broader focus on practical education, designed to mold the next generation of leaders harnessing digital, global, and entrepreneurial concepts.
About Fourglobe and its Vision
Fourglobe Inc. is recognized for its innovative approach to blending creativity with technology to solve business challenges. Headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, the company specializes in advanced system development and digital promotion. Hatano has guided over 500 projects in the AI and digital marketing sectors, making him uniquely positioned to impart vital skills and knowledge to students. The focus of his upcoming lectures will be on practical applications of AI in societal value creation, a theme that resonates strongly with emerging needs in the workforce.
The MasterClass Program Overview
Starting with the semester’s second half, Takasaki Economics University plans to invite industry experts to engage students in hands-on learning experiences that reflect current market demands. The program emphasizes the development of skills through real-world scenarios, engaging students in a dynamic learning environment where theoretical knowledge is put into practice.
The next few months will see three distinct sessions where students engage with the most relevant topics driven by technological advancements:
Session 1: Unlearning for the AI Era (October 30)
In the first session, Hatano will present the concept of
unlearning—a necessary mindshift in the age of AI. By analyzing real-world case studies, he will encourage students to break free from fixed thinking patterns and embrace new technologies. Students will gain insights into the transformation trends initiated by AI and learn to adopt a forward-thinking perspective regarding the future of work.
Session 2: Hands-On AI Skill Development (December 4)
In the second session, students will dive into practical applications of cutting-edge generative AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and video generation AI. This will allow participants to not only create engaging presentations but also develop applications that are immediately applicable in professional contexts. Additionally, through team-building activities, they’ll work on identifying regional challenges and generate innovative ideas using AI.
Session 3: Business Ideas Challenge (January 15)
The final session culminates in a challenge where teams present their AI-driven business ideas. Jurors will evaluate these proposals, providing students the opportunity to showcase their ideation and execution skills in a real-world context. This experience is invaluable for students, offering the chance to initiate the journey of turning their concepts into societal realities.
