Experience the Life of a Lawyer: A Unique Workshop for Children

Discover the Unique Lawyer Experience School

On February 8, 2026, Plus One Education, a subsidiary of Riso Educational Group, will host an innovative event titled "Lawyer Experience School: Experience the Real Work of Lawyers!". This special program provides children the chance to learn about the fundamentals of law and the role of lawyers under the guidance of practicing attorneys.

Engaging Learning Through Real-Life Scenarios

Supervised by Soichiro Yamasaki, author of the children’s legal book "Kodomo Roppou", the workshop features Ryouma Iida, a current practicing lawyer. They will explain the legal system and the essential duties of lawyers in an understandable manner, ensuring that the concepts resonate with young minds. Children will gain a tangible understanding of the law by interacting with real professionals.

Enjoyable and Dynamic Workshop Format

Unlike traditional learning environments, the workshop adopts a hands-on approach, incorporating interactive discussions and activities that children can easily engage with. This format allows participants to explore fundamental legal concepts, such as the necessity of rules and the methods to resolve disputes, in an enjoyable way. Children will naturally acquire the skills of negotiation and discussion, forming a foundation for future interpersonal skills.

Participate in a Contract Negotiation Game

Among the highlights is the "Contract Negotiation Game," which simulates transactions typical in everyday life, such as using a flea market app. Participants will step into the role of a lawyer acting as a representative to address issues and resolve conflicts through negotiation strategies. This engaging theme allows kids to witness how law can be an integral part of their daily lives, reinforcing the relevance of legal knowledge.
