Osaka University of Arts Showcases Talented Alumni at Comic Market 108

Osaka University of Arts, part of the Tsukamoto Academy, is preparing for a vibrant presence at Comic Market 108, set to take place on August 15-16, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight. As this will be their 12th participation, the university is excited to showcase the artistic talents of its graduates, particularly through the artist unit known as '20号,' which comprises Nakayama Seiya and Matsumoto Seiji. This duo has gained recognition for their captivating cover design of the university's guide for 2027, along with distributing various informative materials related to character design studies and their affiliated schools.

About the Artist Unit '20号'

The formation of the artist unit '20号' is intertwined with creative beginnings. Both Nakayama Seiya and Matsumoto Seiji studied together at the Osaka University of Arts, specifically in the art department. Their collaboration was inspired by the street art project 'JAPAN WALLS 2025 in SHIRAHAMA,' which attracted many international artists. They chose the name '20号' after the building where they first met during their studies, symbolizing a fusion of their artistic journeys rooted in their alma mater.
