Experience the Joy of Blueberries at Tampa Bay's 17th Annual Blueberry Festival

Tampa Bay's 17th Annual Blueberry Festival Returns

As spring approaches, the Tampa Bay area is gearing up for one of its most delightful events: the 17th Annual Blueberry Festival hosted by Keel Farms. From April 5 through April 27, 2025, families can gather every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the picturesque Keel Farms located at 5210 W. Thonotosassa Road in Plant City, for a vibrant celebration of all things blueberry.

This year’s festival promises a weekend of fun-filled activities perfect for attendees of all ages. As families stroll through the expansive grounds of Keel Farms, guests will encounter an array of local food trucks serving delicious fare, alongside craft vendors showcasing unique handmade goods. The festival atmosphere is lively, enhanced by a dedicated kids' zone, featuring bounce houses and engaging games.

What sets this festival apart is the opportunity to connect with nature through unique experiences. Kids and adults alike will have the chance to enjoy camel rides, explore a petting zoo filled with friendly animals, or participate in blueberry shortcake eating competitions—a true treat for sweet tooth enthusiasts!

Clay Keel, President of Keel Farms, commented on the event's popularity, noting, "Our Blueberry Festival is always a crowd favorite. Many families make this an annual tradition, and we love that. Each year we try to make it better, and I know visitors will enjoy everything we're offering. It’s not every day you can take a camel ride, drink blueberry cider, and go home with a bucket of freshly picked blueberries."

Another highlight for festival-goers is the U-pick blueberry experience, which allows visitors to hand-pick their own berries while supplies last and weather permits. Pre-packaged blueberries will also be available for purchase. Not to miss is Keel Farms' special blueberry releases, which can be sampled at Keel + Curley Winery & Agrarian Cider, giving guests a taste of locally crafted beverages that celebrate the essence of blueberries.

Admission to the event is free, while parking on-site is available for just $10. Attendees are encouraged to stay hydrated with water stations throughout the grounds as they indulge in the variety of culinary delights, but outside food and beverages are not permitted.

With its beautiful backdrop, engaging activities, and delicious food options, the Blueberry Festival has become a staple on the Tampa Bay calendar. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this festival is not to be missed! Mark your calendars, gather your family and friends, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Keel Farms!
