CFMOTO 675SR-R Becomes the Official Motorcycle of 2027 WorldWCR Championship

CFMOTO 675SR-R: The Official Motorcycle of WorldWCR 2027

In a groundbreaking announcement made on October 9, 2026, CFMOTO has secured a historic agreement with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and DornaWSBK to make its 675SR-R model the official motorcycle for the World Women's Circuit Racing Championship (WorldWCR) starting in the 2027 season. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has been designated as an official supplier for a motorcycle racing series under FIM's governance.

A League for Women Racers

Launched in 2024, the WorldWCR is the first global championship designed exclusively for female riders. The uniqueness of this championship lies in its monotype structure, where all competitors race on identical motorcycles, emphasizing the skills of the riders while simultaneously validating the performance capabilities of the bikes. The WorldWCR joins the ranks of other prominent series under the WorldSBK umbrella, including the Sportbike (SPB), Supersport (SSP), and Superbike (SBK) categories.

Performance Meets Innovation

The CFMOTO 675SR-R is powered by a 675cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine developed in-house that delivers a peak power of 70 kW (95 hp) at 11,000 rpm and maximum torque of 70 Nm at 8,250 rpm. This robust performance provides an excellent foundation for competitive racing. The 675SR-R has already proven its mettle in the British Superbike (BSB) Championship, clinching podium finishes in its debut season – a first for a mass-produced motorcycle from China competing at such a high level.

The track heritage of the 675SR-R has been significantly enhanced through a collaborative development process with the Aspar team, which has been a technical partner for CFMOTO in Moto2 and Moto3 categories. The rigorous testing and feedback from Aspar riders have positively influenced the motorcycle's on-track performance, ensuring that the 675SR-R meets the competitive demands of the WorldWCR.

CFMOTO’s Vision for Global Presence

With its prior success in Moto3 and now as the motorcycle of choice for the WorldWCR, CFMOTO aims to reshape the global perception of Chinese motorcycle manufacturing. The 2027 season promises to usher in a new era for CFMOTO as the 675SR-R embarks on its first large-scale participation in the most prestigious women's motorcycle racing championship in the world.

To support this venture, CFMOTO is committed to providing a comprehensive technical assistance system that includes race bike preparation, spare part supplies, and an on-site technical team. This ensures that the competitors have everything they need to excel during the championship, showcasing not just the motorcycle's capabilities but also CFMOTO’s commitment to women in motorsport.

A Historic Step Forward

The inclusion of the 675SR-R in the WorldWCR reflects not only the advancements of CFMOTO in motorcycle technology but also the growing importance of women in the sport, highlighting their skills and dedication. By stepping into this officially sanctioned role, CFMOTO is not just participating in a championship; it's championing the next generation of female riders, providing them with the platform to shine and excel in a competitive environment. This is more than just a race; it’s about creating opportunities and inspiring future pioneers in the motorcycle industry.
