Primetime Fitness Makes Waves with New Gym Openings

Primetime Fitness, a franchisee of Crunch Fitness, has announced an exciting expansion in the Midwest. With a bold strategy aimed at bolstering their footprint across Ohio and Michigan, they are set to launch four new Crunch Gym locations. This growth is anticipated to shift the fitness landscape in these states, as Primetime Fitness is dedicated to making fitness accessible and enjoyable for local communities.

Expanding the Crunch Network

The recent development comes on the heels of Crunch Fitness's commitment to providing high-energy and quality fitness options. The four gyms, totaling over 101,800 square feet, will bring Primetime’s total number of locations to 23 nationwide. The new sites are:
  • - Crunch Middleburg Heights – 6849B Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130
  • - Crunch Monroe – 1525 Mall Road, Monroe, MI 48162
  • - Crunch Ann Arbor – 2723 Oak Valley Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48103
  • - Crunch Ypsilanti – 3020 Washtenaw Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197

The company plans to make significant renovations and upgrades to enhance customer experiences before the opening of these locations in August 2025. The enhancements aim to elevate the member experience, making it a priority to not only provide exceptional fitness opportunities but also to ensure a community-oriented environment.

Leadership Commitment and Vision

“With these new additions, we’re filled with enthusiasm and confidence,” stated Kevin Laferriere, CEO and President of Primetime Fitness. His excitement highlights the strong commitment of his team to achieve their expansion goals while maintaining operational excellence.

The investments into these gyms will include upgrading the Relax & Recover® areas, improving floor plans, enhancing lighting, and introducing approximately $1.2 million in new equipment. With a focus on rejuvenating the existing environments, Primetime Fitness is dedicated to improving graphics and signage as well, ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
