Fuji Television has announced a brand new original special titled "Professional Insurance Investigator Kurita Rin," which will be available on its streaming service FOD. This special continues the intriguing world established by the main series featuring the lead character Ren Amane, portrayed by Hiroshi Tamaki. The first part of the special will premiere on March 19, 2026, at 10:54 PM, followed by the second part on March 26, at 10 PM.

Overview of the Plot

In this exclusive special, the story revolves around a suspicious case regarding fraudulent insurance claims by a certain osteopathy clinic in Tokyo known as "Kachikochi Osteopathy Clinic." The inquiry is initiated when Sawaki from Orient Insurance, played by Tohru Nomaguchi, receives anomalous billing details from the clinic and approaches Ren Amane to investigate the matter. As Ren is on an overseas business trip, the investigation will be led this time by Rin, played by Sae Okazaki.

An interesting twist arises when Sawaki requests Rin to keep this investigation hidden from Shinnya Miyama, played by Nobuya Koide. This secrecy comes from a previous report submitted by Miyama, claiming no fraud was found, raising suspicions about whether he is actually involved in the fraudulent activities of Kachikochi Clinic. Thus, Rin is assigned a secret mission labeled as a "insurance investigation for the investigation" aimed at uncovering the truth behind the allegations.

As Rin explores the scene, she encounters a captivating and alluring clinic director, Kaede Inagaki, portrayed by Umi Shinonome, whose charm and persuasive demeanor mesmerize both her patients and Rin herself, making the investigation increasingly complex. Despite her attempts to gather statements from patients like Manabu Muraoka, played by Mitsumata Matsumata, her investigation proceeds slowly, as everyone seems enchanted by the director’s charismatic presence.
