The Takaoka Craft Competition, one of Japan's largest craft events, has reached its 37th milestone this year. Established in 1986 in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, this biennial competition aims to promote the charm of craftsmanship and highlight exceptional works from across the nation. From December 18 to 27, the competition's Tokyo exhibition will be held at the prestigious Good Design Marunouchi, presenting award-winning pieces alongside select entries.
