Subaru of America Reports November 2025 Sales
Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) has announced its sales figures for November 2025, revealing a total of
52,081 vehicles sold during the month. This marks a
3.3% decline in year-to-date sales, totaling
586,154 vehicles sold so far this year. Despite this drop, the iconic automaker sees reasons for optimism as it approaches the holiday season and prepares for its signature charity event.
In November, the Subaru
Crosstrek continued its reign as the top-selling vehicle, with
16,142 units sold, maintaining its position for the seventh consecutive month. Other notable performers included the
Forester, which accounted for
13,871 sales, and the
Outback, which followed closely behind with
13,089 units sold. Each of these models showcases the strength and reliability associated with the Subaru brand.
Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of America, expressed his confidence in the company's performance, attributing the strong sales to the efforts of local retailers. He also mentioned the ongoing
Subaru Share the Love® Event, which is in its 18th year this season. This annual initiative allows customers purchasing or leasing a new Subaru vehicle to choose a charity to receive a $250 donation from the company. Aiming to raise over
$30 million during the event, Subaru is keen to surpass its cumulative donations of
$350 million since the program's inception.
Walters stated, “Our retailers have once again delivered outstanding results while helping launch the 18th annual Subaru Share the Love® Event. With new gas, hybrid, and electric models now arriving at retailers, we are confident that customers will be impressed by the latest technology and design that Subaru has to offer.”
Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales for Subaru, highlighted the positive customer experience at Subaru retailers, which he attributed to initiatives like Subaru Love-Encore™ and their focus on charitable contributions. Subaru’s commitment to social impact is reflected in their partnership with four national charities:
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®),
Make-A-Wish®,
Meals on Wheels, and the
National Park Foundation. Additionally, their retailers are supporting local charities designated by the community, allowing each dealership to make a meaningful impact locally.
The detailed sales report for November shows various adjustments across the lineup. For instance:
- - Ascent: 4,315 units sold, a decrease of 6.1% compared to last year.
- - BRZ: Only 187 units sold, representing a 41.6% drop.
- - Impreza: Sales fell by 26.6%, with 1,976 vehicles sold.
- - The Solterra, an electric vehicle from Subaru, saw a significant decline of 78.3%, with only 232 units sold.
In light of these results, the brand is focused on reinvigorating its model offerings with new releases and increasing its appeal in a competitive market. As the year draws to a close, Subaru enthusiasts can look forward to innovative updates, such as the all-new
2026 Subaru Outback, which has just begun arriving at showrooms.
For Subaru, December isn't merely about sales; it's an opportunity to give back through its charity program, which not only enriches community pieces but also resonates with customers who value corporate social responsibility. As Subaru of America gears up for the final month of the year, the emphasis remains on enhancing customer experience, ensuring robust support for local communities, and driving sales through quality vehicles that embody safety and reliability.
Overall, despite a slight downturn in total vehicle sales, Subaru of America reflects on a successful month enriched by its commitment to philanthropy.
