DXC Technology Launches Customer Experience Center in London

DXC Technology, a global leader in enterprise technology and innovation, has officially opened its new Customer Experience Center (CEC) located in the heart of London. This initiative marks a significant step towards helping organizations realize the full potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and transform their business operations. The center aims to bridge the gap between experimentation with new technologies and the practical implementation of these innovations on a large scale.

The CEC is supported by a cadre of 6,000 multidisciplinary DXC experts based in the UK and Ireland, which includes system architects, software developers, industry specialists, and service delivery teams. This team’s collective expertise is further enhanced by DXC’s global network of 40,000 developers, ensuring a robust framework for clients throughout the region to co-create solutions that deliver measurable enterprise-wide outcomes.

Derek Allison, General Manager of DXC Technology in the UK and Ireland, emphasized the center's role as a collaborative space where clients can bring forth their most challenging technical problems, engage in dialogue, and work with DXC’s skilled professionals to develop innovative solutions. In a business landscape characterized by rapid changes, he noted that leaders require reliable partners to assist in designing, building, and operating AI-driven enterprises. The center serves as more than just a showcase for DXC’s capabilities—it's an extension of the client transformation journeys.

Strategically located in the City of London, the CEC fosters a collaborative innovation environment across various DXC platforms, services, and solutions. This includes areas such as automation, generative AI, agent-based AI, AdvisoryX, security operations, and enterprise applications. Clients visiting the center will have the opportunity to witness first-hand how DXC’s unique abilities can enhance business resilience, accelerate decision-making processes, and lead to quantifiable business impacts.

The CEC is set to support major public and private organizations, including the Metropolitan Police, Network Rail, Barts Health NHS Trust, London Market Insurance Companies, the Ministry of Defence, and the Department of Health and Social Care, in accelerating their digital transformation initiatives.

In a significant move to bolster its AI capabilities, DXC also announced plans to hire 150 AI specialists across the UK and Ireland. These new hires will enable organizations to prioritize and operationalize AI while cultivating the next generation of transformation leaders capable of guiding clients through complex, AI-driven transitions across diverse sectors such as government, aerospace and defense, banking and insurance, automotive, healthcare, and life sciences.

Bob James, CEO of Velonetic, a service provider supporting modernization on the London insurance market, commented on the pressing need for businesses across industries to transition AI from isolated pilot projects to secure, scalable operational functions. According to him, the CEC creates a hands-on environment where business and technology teams can collaboratively develop, validate, and industrialize AI- and data-driven solutions for complex platforms.

Industry analysts also recognize the transformative potential of DXC's new center. Georgina O'Toole, a senior analyst and partner at TechMarketView, noted that the successful deployment of digital technologies, including AI, relies on multidisciplinary teams familiar with both technological and organizational, cultural, and regulatory obstacles to production and scalability. Centers like DXC's bring specific business challenges together with technical expertise, thereby accelerating the path to production, scaling, and measurable business outcomes.
