Kato Works to Showcase Innovations at CSPI2026

Kato Works Co., Ltd. (President: Muneyasu Kato), will be exhibiting at the 8th International Construction and Surveying Exhibition (CSPI2026), taking place from June 17 to June 20, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. This will mark the company's first appearance at the exhibition in seven years, having last participated in 2019.

Background of the Exhibition

The construction and surveying sectors are increasingly focused on minimizing environmental impact, enhancing safety, and boosting productivity. As a response to these challenges, Kato Works aims to present products and technologies during the exhibition that address these pressing issues.

Among the highlights, the company will showcase the world’s first hybrid rough terrain crane, SR-250HV, along with the new hydraulic excavator HD514MR-9, which is expected for release in July 2026, and the all-round crawler carrier IC110R, designed for enhanced transportability and safety. Additionally, Kato Works will introduce its operational management system K-Cast as part of its digital transformation initiatives to improve work efficiency through operational visibility.

Kato Works will also collaborate with the Japan Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association on June 17, the first day of the exhibition, by hosting a student tour. On June 20, the last day, family-friendly activities, including test ride experiences and miniature model sales, are planned to ignite interest in the construction equipment industry among younger generations and contribute to cultivating the future workforce.

This crawler carrier boasts a maximum load capacity of 11 tons and excels in various environments, including infrastructure development and disaster recovery. Its compact design enhances transportability, while a new large-capacity loading platform enables stability and visibility for safer operations.

Operational Management System (K-Cast)

This system, common across the showcased models, will be explained through product introduction videos. It assists with site management by visualizing operational conditions for efficient vehicle management.
