More than 30% of this year’s winners are smart products, including AI-powered glasses, intelligent conference terminals, and smart health devices. This surge in intelligent design showcases the expanding applications of AI in domestic, office, medical, and outdoor environments.

Sustainability is another essential facet now ingrained in the entire product lifecycle. Over 40% of the award winners have been recognized for their green initiatives, which incorporate energy-saving panels and sugarcane paper, demonstrating how environmentally conscious practices can be integrated into product design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

Initiated in 2013, the Canton Fair Design Award is widely regarded as a benchmark for design innovation within China's foreign trade sector.
