Toastique is Coming to Raleigh!

Excitement is brewing as Toastique, the popular gourmet toast and coffee bar, prepares to open its very first location in Raleigh, North Carolina, on October 18, 2025. Pioneered in Washington D.C., Toastique has made a name for itself with a vibrant and health-centric menu that emphasizes fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Located at The Exchange, a lively mixed-use community, the new Toastique café promises a welcoming atmosphere where customers can enjoy a nutritious breakfast, lunch, or just a quick snack any time of the day. The café will operate from 7 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week, making it an ideal stop for those on the go.

The Raleigh location will be run by local residents and best friends, Jessalyn Abril and Kristi Kaltenbach. Their friendship began six years ago when their oldest boys attended kindergarten together, and they've been inseparable ever since. Kaltenbach shares, "Opening Toastique isn't just about starting a business; it's about sharing something we truly love with our community."

In a recent study by WalletHub, Raleigh was ranked as one of the nation’s healthiest cities, so the addition of Toastique aligns perfectly with the community's commitment to wellness. Guests can look forward to indulging in a variety of signature sweet and savory toasts, hand-crafted coffee, refreshing cold-pressed juices, and delicious smoothie bowls. "We fell in love with the Toastique concept because it felt fresh, fun, and unique to Raleigh, with a strong focus on healthy eating that resonated with us," says Abril. "It’s precisely the kind of spot we wanted to create in Raleigh where people can grab something both delicious and nourishing."

To celebrate the grand opening, Toastique is hosting a week of special events and promotions. The festivities will kick off on opening day, where the first 100 guests will each receive $50 in Toastique rewards dollars, redeemable on future visits with a minimum purchase of $10.
