Subaru's 2025 Share the Love Event Launches with Emotional Advertising
Subaru of America, Inc. has officially kicked off its 2025 Share the Love® Event, unveiling two powerful advertisements aimed at driving awareness and donations. The campaign, marking its 18th year, continues its tradition of mobilizing support for both national and local charitable organizations, with a goal of raising over $30 million this season alone. The overarching aim is to surpass the remarkable milestone of $350 million in cumulative donations by the end of the initiative.
Heartfelt Advertisements Highlighting Generosity
The new ads titled "Prom" and "Love Comes Home" each tell poignant stories that touch the heart. The ad "Prom" showcases the incredible selflessness of a Make-A-Wish child who gifts one of the five unique wishes available through the charity—a touching gesture illustrating the spirit of giving during the holiday season. On the other hand, "Love Comes Home" shines a spotlight on the tireless efforts of Subaru retailers who support their local charities day after day, highlighting the importance of community involvement.

Supporting National and Local Communities
This year, Subaru will again support four primary national charity partners: the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation. In addition, Subaru’s participating retailers will select locally registered charities, enabling them to make an impact in their own communities.
The commercials targeted to audiences across various media platforms, including national television, streaming services, and social media, will feature both 30-second and 15-second formats. The inspiring messages are designed to reach as many viewers as possible, encouraging donations and participation in this heartwarming initiative. Notably, there is also a 60-second version of "Prom" that will be featured in select placements, and a Spanish-language version of "Love Comes Home" will air on Hispanic networks such as Telemundo.
The Impact of Giving
Between November 20, 2025, and January 2, 2026, Subaru will donate $250 for every new vehicle sold or leased at participating dealerships to the charity of the customer's choice. Retailers can also choose up to two hometown charities to receive additional funds from each vehicle sale, promoting even more local support. This year's initiative is expected to foster community ties and amplify the giving spirit that the Share the Love Event embodies.
Since its inception, Subaru's Share the Love Event has raised nearly $320 million, showcasing a strong dedication to charitable work. More than 2,700 hometown charities have benefited from this initiative, and Subaru is committed to continuously expanding its reach and impact in communities nationwide.
