A Unique Culinary Experience: Royal Host's Collaboration with Para Art Artists
Royal Host, a prominent brand within the Royal Group, is set to launch a remarkable collaboration with artists from ‘Kanazawa Art Studio’ and ‘Shibuya Font’ in 2025. This initiative aims to enrich dining experiences by integrating the artists' creative designs into seasonal dessert coasters and dining mats. The objective is not just to delight diners with culinary masterpieces but also to provide a platform for diverse talented individuals to shine.
Enhancing Dining with Artistic Touches
In line with its vision of being the most beloved hospitality restaurant in Japan, Royal Host is committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With a focus on supporting diverse artists, Royal Host resonates with Kanazawa Art Studio's mission, tapping into the unique abilities of artists to create innovative designs that complement their delectable dishes.
Artists’ Unique Creations
The collaboration kicks off with artist Kanta Wajima's designs for 2025, starting from January 15 with the ‘Sweet Strawberry’ seasonal dessert. This eye-catching dessert features vibrant colors that beautifully highlight the delightful strawberry, marking the arrival of spring. The coaster titled 'My Bouquet' adds additional charm and creativity to the dining experience.
From May 14, the ‘Fresh Melon Dessert’ will showcase Wajima's design 'Hydrangea', portraying large colorful flowers and delicate buds to capture the essence of summer, perfectly harmonizing with the green melon dessert, evoking refreshing summer vibes.
Seasonal Flare Continues
Following this, on July 16, the ‘Apple Mango’ dessert will be accompanied by the cheerful and vibrant designs of 'Philhar World', inspired by music and elevating the vibrant yellow hues of the mango dessert. The fun aesthetics reflect Wajima's love for rhythm and lively expressions.
On September 17, fall flavors lead us to the ‘Marron Dessert Selection’, where the 'Cosmos' design emphasizes seasonal changes with its delicate representation of the cosmos and mountainous hues that beautifully align with the rich aspects of the chestnut dessert.
Lastly, November 26 introduces the ‘Domestic Red Apple & Royal Sweet Potato’, with a design inspired by a cosmic concert backdrop, merging a magical atmosphere into the savory apple dessert, continuing the theme of a small art museum on the plate.
Advocating for Inclusive Artistic Expression
The Kanazawa Art Studio has been empowering artists with disabilities in Kanazawa City since 2008, providing them with resources and opportunities to express themselves through creativity. Kanta Wajima represents this vision both through his artwork and the spirit of collaboration.
Moreover, the 'Good JAPAN' project highlights local ingredients and celebrates Japanese culture through beautifully designed dining mats and drink coasters by artists associated with the Shibuya Font and continued support for artists via various exhibitions. This endeavor aims to uplift the essence of local produce while supporting the community.
The contributions from these young artists alongside sophisticated culinary offerings create a rich dining experience that not only satisfies the palate but also engages the senses through artistic expression. Royal Host continues its commitment to social responsibility while bringing guests delightful meals in an artistically vibrant setting.
Royal Host’s continued collaboration fosters a community spirit, allowing individuals with unique abilities to share their vibrant stories through food while indulging in magnificent culinary delights.
