CES 2025 Audit Highlights Significant Growth in Attendance
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has recently released independently verified data showcasing the success of CES 2025, the world's leading tech event. This year, an impressive total of
142,465 participants from across the globe attended CES, reinforcing its status as a pivotal gathering point for innovators and industry leaders. The figures reveal a significant increase in attendance, particularly among executives, investors, and media representatives, all coming together to delve into innovative technologies designed to address global challenges and shape the future.
Gary Shapiro, the President and CEO of CTA emphasized, "CES is where the global tech community converges to set the agenda for the coming year." The event featured numerous exhibitions, discussions, and networking opportunities that not only present innovations but also act as a catalyst for solutions aimed at improving lives.
A Global Gathering for Innovation
Held in
Las Vegas, the CES served as a marketplace for obtaining business deals, creating jobs, and promoting global growth. The attendance statistics highlight that
40% of the visitors were international, reflecting the ongoing global influence of CES. Among the key figures reported were:
- - Over 4,500 registered exhibitors, including a vibrant startup community with 1,400 exhibitors at the Eureka Park.
- - 6,582 members of the media were present to cover the event.
- - Attendance from 305 of the Fortune Global 500 companies was recorded.
- - More than 300 conference sessions featuring over 1,200 speakers contributed to the event's educational and networking facets.
"Once again, CES stands as the largest audited annual economic gathering," stated Kinsey Fabrizio, President of the CTA. She acknowledged the significant commitment of time, resources, and effort that exhibitors, media, and attendees dedicated to making their presence known at CES. The CTA takes pride in sharing reliable, verified data to justify these investments.
Connecting Industry Leaders
The CES is not just about attracting participants; it's focused on bringing the right people together to advance the industry. The audit confirmed CES as a focal point for executives from essential technology sectors, including AI, robotics, healthcare, entertainment, and advertising. Interest in AI remained dominant among participants, with notable increases in interest in robotics yielding a growing spotlight for that sector in subsequent years.
The digital health sector experienced a
13% rise in visitors compared to CES 2024, while attendance from the entertainment and advertising sectors saw an
11% increase during the same time frame.
Moreover, CES 2025 also hosted international diplomats and policymakers eager to explore the opportunities and challenges posed by the global spread of innovation. This year,
158 government officials from around the world participated in CTA's "Leaders in Technology" program designed to facilitate the transition to the new U.S. government administration.
Ensuring Transparency and Trust
The attendance figures for CES are independently verified and exceed the auditing standards set by
UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. The verification by third parties is crucial for maintaining trust and ensuring data accuracy, promoting transparency for all stakeholders involved. The CTA advocates for exhibitors to request third-party audits for the events they engage in.
The CES 2025 audit data is publicly accessible, and the next CES will return to Las Vegas from
January 6 to 9, 2026.
