Midea Group Unveils Advanced Sustainable Heating Solutions at ISH 2025 in Frankfurt

Midea Group Showcases Sustainable Heating Innovations at ISH 2025

Midea Group has officially launched its latest sustainable heating solutions at the ISH 2025 exhibition in Frankfurt. This event, a significant platform for HVAC and water industries, centers on energy and water-saving solutions. The theme for this year's exhibition is “Green Vision, Blue Future,” emphasizing the pressing need for environmentally viable technologies in the European market.

As one of the leading contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, buildings in the EU accounted for approximately 34% of energy-related emissions in 2022, as indicated by the European Environment Agency. However, there has been a remarkable 34% reduction in emissions from 2005 to 2022, largely due to advancements in heating and cooling systems. Midea Group aims to continue this positive trend with its innovative approaches to heating solutions.

The Role of R290 in Reducing Emissions

Midea's showcase includes advanced products that leverage the environmentally friendly refrigerant R290. This significant initiative has already led to a reduction of 3.715 million tons of CO2 emissions, thanks to the 6.2 million units sold globally. Key products introduced for the European market include:

  • - Nature ATW Heat Pump: This state-of-the-art heating solution is tailored specifically for the European market, achieving a remarkable A+++ ERP rating. Utilizing R290, the heat pump has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of only 3 and an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of zero. Furthermore, it can deliver water temperatures of up to 80°C, catering to diverse heating needs while maintaining exceptionally low noise levels of just 30 dB(A).
  • - H-Pack Heat Pump: Designed with Italian aesthetics and German innovation, the H-Pack won a German Design Award and facilitates complete indoor installation without any external units. This compact unit is engineered for easy access to components for hassle-free maintenance and supports smart grid capabilities for energy optimization.
  • - Vita Water Heaters: Midea is also introducing the Vita series, aimed at transitioning from purely electrical heating to more sustainable options. This series encompasses a hybrid model with low NOx emissions, catering to older buildings with stable gas-flame combustion.
  • - iEasyEnergy Solution: Midea's iEasyEnergy offers an intelligent energy management system for air-to-water heat pumps, energy storage, and photovoltaic modules. This comprehensive solution ensures energy self-sufficiency for homes by up to 90%, underscoring Midea's commitment to sustainability.

Intelligent Climate Control with AI

In addition to heating solutions, Midea also presented its latest smart air conditioning unit, Solstice, equipped with AI support. This innovative product features a unique air deflector design that allows for seamless airflow, providing optimal heating comfort. The Solstice unit operates effectively during winter, thanks to its stainless steel chassis and heating belt.

The unit is integrated with Midea's next-generation AI algorithm, ECOMASTER AI, promising over 30% additional energy savings, making it an ideal choice for energy-conscious consumers.

Commitment to a Sustainable Future

Midea Group is dedicated to delivering practical, comfortable, and sustainable solutions for homes and businesses in Europe. This aligns with the overarching goal of fostering the HVAC industry's evolution towards a more intelligent and greener future. At ISH 2025, booth E91, Midea showcases its contributions to these sustainability objectives.

As Midea Group continues to innovate, the company's rich history of enhancing lives through technology shines through, demonstrating its commitment to ecological sustainability and energy efficiency across its global operations.

With an investment of $8 billion in research and development over the past five years, Midea has established a global network made up of 33 R&D centers and 43 main production facilities, enhancing its service to over 500 million customers in more than 200 countries. As a result, Midea is not only a leader in innovation but also a champion of positive environmental impact by design.
