Yellowstone Bourbon Launches Exclusive 2026 Limited Edition Finished in Ruby and Tawny Port Casks

Yellowstone Bourbon Unveils 2026 Limited Edition

Yellowstone Bourbon has announced an exciting addition to its esteemed collection: the 2026 Limited Edition bourbon. This release marks the 11th iteration in the brand's annual limited series, celebrated for its unique craftsmanship and quality. Drawing inspiration from the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon situated in Yellowstone National Park, the new bourbon emphasizes the interplay of light and shadow found within one of America's most iconic landscapes.

Master Distiller Stephen Beam meticulously crafted this year’s blend, combining 7- and 14-year-old straight bourbons finished in Ruby and Tawny Port casks. This dual-finishing method captures the captivating contrasts of the Grand Canyon; the Ruby Port evokes the vibrant hues seen during a sunset, while the Tawny Port reflects the deep shadows cast across the valley floor. According to Beam, “The way the sunlight moves across the canyon transforms what you see from moment to moment.” It’s this dynamic quality that he has aimed to portray through this innovative bourbon.

Tasting Notes

The result of this expert blending is a bourbon that offers a rich and complex palate. Upon the first encounter, the nose reveals enticing scents of charred oak, ripe blackberry, and plum, complemented by a distinct hint of piloncillo. As you savor the taste, a velvety texture envelops your mouth, featuring flavors of caramelized sugar coupled with dark fruits. The experience culminates with nuances of dark chocolate during the finish, alongside notes of roasted nuts and a subtle touch of clove that lingers on the palate.

The Yellowstone Limited Edition 2026 is bottled at 101 proof and comes with a suggested retail price of $99. This exquisite bourbon can be purchased at the Limestone Branch Distillery Visitor Center and will be available in select retail locations nationwide starting in August.

About Yellowstone Bourbon

Yellowstone Bourbon’s roots trace back to 1872, named after the world’s first national park. Founded by distiller Joseph Bernard Dant, the brand was revitalized in 2011 by the seventh-generation Master Distiller, Stephen Beam. Drawing from his family's long lineage in distilling, Beam set out to breathe new life into Yellowstone Bourbon. The craft is deeply entwined with the history of the Dant and Beam families, creating a brand that stands as a testament to heritage and quality in American bourbon.

The company is also committed to philanthropy, having donated over a million dollars to the National Parks Conservation Association, supporting the preservation of America’s national parks.

In addition, Yellowstone Bourbon will also participate in initiatives aimed at conserving grizzly bear habitats through the Vital Ground Foundation.
