Celebrating 130 Years of Ginza Tatsutano with Special Anmitsu Dessert

A Sweet Celebration: Ginza Tatsutano's 130th Anniversary Anmitsu

As the beloved Ginza Tatsutano marks its impactful 130-year milestone, it is excited to introduce a limited-time special offering: the "Ginza Tatsutano 130th Anniversary Anmitsu." This delightful dessert will be available starting November 1, 2025, at their Jiyugaoka location.

Founded in 1895 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, Ginza Tatsutano has gracefully navigated numerous challenges including natural disasters and the more recent pandemic. After closing all its stores in 2021, a strong desire to preserve its legacy and serve its dedicated customers led to the revival of this iconic confectionery in the summer of 2023 in Jiyugaoka.

To express gratitude to its loyal patrons, the anniversary anmitsu blends traditional flavors with seasonal fruits, celebrating both heritage and modern culinary art. This exquisite dessert features finely crafted sweet red beans, luxurious agar made from specially selected tengusa seaweed, and fragrant, proprietary black syrup. Topped with an assortment of seasonal fruits and creamy soft serve, it’s an enticing treat waiting to be savored.

A Taste of Tradition & Innovation

The anmitsu is artfully presented with a nod to its origins while embracing contemporary tastes. For 1,300 yen (including tax), guests will not only enjoy this vibrant dessert but also have their choice of premium tea from three options: two types of sencha, genmai-cha, or hojicha, enhancing the tasting experience.
