Home State Health Honors Kidz Biz Pediatrics for Clinical Excellence in Child Health

Home State Health Celebrates Excellence in Pediatric Care

Home State Health recently announced that Dr. Daniel G. Rudolph and Dr. Joshua P. Boldt of Kidz Biz Pediatrics have been awarded the prestigious Clinical Quality Champion Award. This recognition underscores their unwavering commitment to providing top-notch healthcare and improving the health outcomes of the children and families they serve.

The Clinical Quality Champion Award is conferred to physicians who exhibit extraordinary dedication to their craft, with a particular focus on preventive pediatric care. This year’s recipients, Dr. Rudolph and Dr. Boldt, earned the distinction for their exemplary performance in promoting well-child visits and preventive care initiatives. Their efforts have allowed families to establish essential health foundations for their children’s lives.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Daniel G. Rudolph has been with Kidz Biz Pediatrics since 1999. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine before completing his pediatric residency at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to being board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Rudolph is the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. His active participation extends to being a member of the hospital's Medical Care Appraisal Committee and the Medical Executive Committee.

Dr. Joshua P. Boldt joined the team in 2005 and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his pediatric residency at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children's Hospital and, like Dr. Rudolph, is board-certified in pediatrics. Dr. Boldt is also the Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Mercy Jefferson Hospital.

A Team Effort

Home State Health is quick to highlight that the recognition of Dr. Rudolph and Dr. Boldt is not only about individual excellence. The entire Kidz Biz Pediatrics team is commended for its dedicated quality improvement and teamwork. The practice collaborates closely with Home State Health, utilizing electronic medical records and engaging in initiatives aimed at promoting continuity of care. Their outreach efforts ensure families understand the importance of accessing preventive services, particularly for their children.

“The commitment exhibited by Dr. Rudolph, Dr. Boldt, and the entire Kidz Biz Pediatrics team is a prime example of the collaborative partnerships that enhance the health of our communities,” stated Shawn Furey, President and CEO of Home State Health. “Their unwavering dedication to preventive care, patient engagement, and quality improvement truly makes a profound impact on the lives of our members.”

Looking Ahead

The Clinical Quality Champion Award not only highlights this year’s accomplishments in preventive child care but also has the potential to focus on different clinical quality measures as healthcare needs evolve. Dr. Rudolph and Dr. Boldt represent leaders who are committed to advancing pediatric health and fostering strong community collaborations.
