ASUR Proposes Significant Operational Changes



Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (ASUR), a prominent player in the airport industry, recently proposed to its shareholders a strategic shift aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. This proposal includes the internalization of technical assistance services that were previously outsourced, the issuance of extraordinary dividends, and amendments to the company’s bylaws.

Proposed Integration of Technical Services



ASUR's Board of Directors has recommended that the company integrate the previously outsourced technical assistance and technology transfer services, currently managed by Inversiones y Técnicas Aeroportuarias, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (ITA). This measure is considered crucial for the organization's growth, as it will allow ASUR to have better control and oversight over these essential services. The transition will involve merging one or more entities into ASUR, enabling the company to assume direct responsibility for these functions.

The initiative, driven by the company’s management and monitored by the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee, reflects ASUR's commitment to refining its operations and securing sustainable profitability. The restructuring process is anticipated to be detailed in an upcoming information document, which will assist shareholders in making informed decisions during the Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting.

Extraordinary Dividends



In addition to the internalization of services, ASUR has announced plans to distribute two extraordinary cash dividends. Each dividend will amount to Ps.10.00 (ten pesos), with distributions scheduled for November and December 2026. These dividends will be payable to holders of the Series
