Autumn has been a long-time patron at various Monkee’s locations across the country, often including visits to these boutiques during family road trips. “It became a part of our itinerary!” she recalls.

Interestingly, during a recent visit to the Murfreesboro location, Kevin made a light-hearted suggestion that sparked a serious conversation, “So are you ready to open a Monkee's?” That question quickly evolved into a passionate endeavor that turned their dream into reality within just a year.

Positioned within the renowned Read House Hotel, Monkee's of Chattanooga will not only serve local residents but also attract visitors from across the country. Autumn expresses her admiration for the hotel, stating, “Being inside the infamous Read House Hotel is the cherry on top for me!” Thanks to its glamorous decor reminiscent of the roaring 20s, guests will enjoy a shopping space that complements the hotel’s historical allure, adorned with rich jewel tones that enhance the overall ambiance.

Monkee's will be the first boutique in Chattanooga to operate within a hotel, merging local charm with a touch of elegance that invites both locals and travelers to indulge in a fashionable shopping experience.
