Doxey comes to Southwest Airlines after a successful tenure as President of Breeze Airways, where he remarkably led the airline from startup status to profitability in under two years. During his leadership, Breeze embraced a guest-focused approach, rolled out a loyalty program, launched a co-branded credit card, and even established itself as the largest NCAA basketball charter operator in the U.S. These achievements demonstrate Doxey's capability to drive growth and brand recognition in a competitive market.

Before his stint at Breeze, Doxey held various significant positions at United Airlines. As Senior Vice President of Technical Operations, and former CFO of Operations, he managed multi-billion dollar budgets and led major strategic initiatives, including overseeing global maintenance and engineering operations during the challenging period of the pandemic. His experience at United included not only overseeing fleet transactions but also managing the airline's operational budget of $18 billion.

Doxey’s aviation career started at Allegiant Air and US Airways, where he focused on financial planning and fleet management. This initial exposure equipped him with extensive knowledge in aircraft transactions and corporate finance, setting the stage for his impressive career in the industry.

Doxey holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Brigham Young University. His strong educational foundation is complemented by his active participation in professional forums and advisory boards, including being a member of BYU's Marriott School of Business Advisory Board and the Aviation Maintenance Council.
