InteLogix Plans Global Expansion with Acquisition of Athear in Egypt
InteLogix Aims for Global Presence Through Athear Acquisition
InteLogix, a prominent name in customer experience and accounts receivable management, has made significant strides towards expanding its global footprint. The company recently announced its plans to acquire Athear for Marketing Services Co., a well-established firm based in New Cairo, Egypt. This strategic acquisition is set to unfold within the year and marks a pivotal step for InteLogix as it ventures into the EMEA region and other key European markets, including GCC countries, the UK, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Switzerland.
The New Cairo location will serve as a vital service hub for InteLogix, allowing it to offer multilingual customer support in several languages, including Arabic, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. Egypt was chosen for this project due to its strong talent pool, competitive cost structure, robust infrastructure with widespread fiber optic connectivity, a time zone that aligns well with Europe, and government incentives geared towards technological and export services.
This initiative complements InteLogix's intelligent offshoring model, which strategically mixes nearshore and offshore options to suit clients' performance, cultural alignment, and profitability needs.
Athear, renowned for its exceptional service and solid foundation, boasts a clientele that includes globally recognized brands. The acquisition will not only enhance InteLogix’s service offerings but also bring in permanent staffing agency capabilities and human resource management expertise.
Mario Baddour, CEO of InteLogix, articulated the significance of this acquisition, stating, “This represents a major move towards our goal of helping clients tackle rising operational costs in Europe and North America. We aim to leverage a highly skilled, multilingual workforce while enhancing our digital-centric model with LogixSuite. Our objective is to deliver smarter, more efficient solutions based on cultural mastery and operational excellence.”
With 68 years of experience across sectors like financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, and retail, InteLogix continues to grow globally, focusing on flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and local expertise.
As for Athear, Tarek Ziden, its CEO, reflected on the alignment between the two companies, emphasizing shared values and the strength of their reputations. “This partnership promises to extend our reach while maintaining our momentum, built on consistent quality,” he noted.
With this acquisition, InteLogix will not only reinforce its standing as a provider of choice in the region but will also further its mission of driving customer engagement and retention through tailored solutions that align with market demands. This move underscores a broader trend of companies recognizing the importance of establishing a global presence and leveraging diverse talent to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
In a rapidly evolving market, this strategic acquisition positions InteLogix to better serve its clients, ensuring that they remain at the forefront of customer experience and operational efficiency. As companies continue to navigate the complexities of the global landscape, such initiatives will be crucial in driving sustainable growth and innovation.
