Despite its commitment to employee wellness, Altius Link faces some challenges. Currently, only 18.7% of its employees engage in regular exercise, a figure that is notably lower than the national average of 34.6% as reported in the National Health and Nutrition Survey. Furthermore, the company acknowledges the various health concerns common to the BPO industry like discomfort from prolonged sitting, eye strain, and musculoskeletal issues due to screen time.

To address these challenges, Altius Link is proactive in organizing events aimed at encouraging staff to embrace physical activities and make exercise a regular part of their lives.

Walking Events

As an entry point for employees to cultivate an interest in fitness, Altius Link organizes walking events twice a year. The events, designed to be easily accessible, encourage participants to walk at least 3,000 steps in a day. Since inception, 2,172 employees have taken part, providing them an opportunity to become more aware of their health and physical condition.

Health Support Applications

The company has also started distributing and utilizing health management apps, including ones focusing on walking activities, to enhance support for employee health.

In addition, Altius Link has established corporate partnerships with gyms to facilitate employee access to fitness facilities.

Original Exercise Program

Furthermore, in collaboration with the expert company Kururu, Altius Link has developed and implemented a unique exercise routine tailored for the BPO sector, designed to be executed quickly and in minimal space. This program, known as "Altius Exercises," aims to integrate physical activity into everyday work life.
