Hisense Unveils Its Vision of ‘Boundless’ at the 2025 Laser Display Conference
In a remarkable showcase of technological advancement, Hisense, a leading name in consumer electronics and home appliances, organized the 2025 Laser Display Conference. The theme, ‘Boundless’, celebrates ten years of innovation and envisions a future that surpasses the existing boundaries of display technology.
The concept of ‘boundless’ mirrors the spirit of laser displays, which have evolved from niche products to integral parts of global home entertainment. Available in sizes ranging from 65 to 300 inches, these displays span applications from homes to vehicles and cinemas to industrial uses. Their rapid ascent in the past decade has transformed the landscape of the global television industry, fostering a unified ecosystem that meets diverse consumer needs.
According to a report by Technavio in 2025, the global projector market has seen consistent growth over the past three years (2020-2023). This growth further substantiates Hisense's leading position, as highlighted by a recent Omdia report stating that from 2019 to the first half of 2025, Hisense held the number one spot in global laser TV shipments, commanding a commanding 70% volume share in the first half of 2025 alone.
Moreover, between January and August 2025, the sales of Hisense's Laser products surged by 85%, with an impressive 64% increase in international markets beyond China and Japan, underscoring their global prominence.
During the conference, Hisense showcased a stunning array of products that embody the ‘boundless’ slogan. Featured products included the L9Q TriChroma Laser TV and the C2 Ultra laser mini-projector, both of which promise an immersive cinematic experience and large-scale entertainment suitable for home settings.
The L9Q Laser TV is engineered in partnership with the Opéra de Paris and Devialet, delivering premium visuals with sizes ranging from 80 to 200 inches, a brightness of 5,000 ANSI lumens, and a contrast ratio of 5,000:1. This model also boasts certifications such as IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision, elevating the home cinema experience to new heights. On the other hand, the C2 Ultra projector, designed specifically for gamers, offers a projection size up to 300 inches with ultra-low latency and vibrant colors that captivate both gamers and movie fans alike.
In an industry first, Hisense introduced the world’s first integrated rollable laser TV during the conference. This compact innovation merges the screen and processor, removing the need for cabinets or pre-installation surveys, ensuring seamless integration into internal spaces while enhancing aesthetic appeal. By pushing the limits of size, color, shape, and viewing experience, Hisense reinforces its role as a global tech leader and lifestyle creator, propelling the industry forward into a new era of 'boundless' displays.
Founded in 1969, Hisense has established itself as a globally recognized leader in the realm of home appliances and consumer electronics, operating in over 160 countries. Its commitment to quality multimedia products, home appliances, and intelligent IT solutions has positioned it as a top player. Notably, Hisense is recognized as the global leader in the market for TVs measuring 100 inches and larger, according to Omdia's findings from early 2023 to the first half of 2025.
