Wako's Annex Cake & Chocolate Shop in Ginza has unveiled its exclusive collection of Christmas cakes and sweets for the 2025 holiday season. Renowned for their commitment to quality, every creation is meticulously crafted by skilled pastry chefs using carefully selected ingredients. This year, they have not only brought back beloved classics but also introduced exciting new cakes and limited-edition treats perfect for holiday gifting.

This spectacular cake, measuring 30cm on each side, draws inspiration from Ginza's iconic Seiko House and is priced at ¥108,000. Resembling a piece straight out of a fairy tale, the “Noël de WAKO” cake is designed to impress, featuring intricate chocolate detailing of the clock tower, beautifully showcasing the Christmas spirit with decorations of Christmas trees and Santa Claus. The base boasts a moist almond flavored dacquoise filled with an abundance of fresh fruits including strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and mango, all layered with velvety cream. Finished with a delightful cookie exterior, this cake serves around 20, enriching festive gatherings with its elegant taste.

New Offering: Neige de Noël
Priced at ¥6,480, this mousse cake showcases a snowy white surface topped with chestnut cream. The cake combines Japanese chestnuts with cassis jam and vanilla mousse, creating a unique blend of gentle sweetness balanced with refreshing acidity.
Revamped Classic: Forêt de Chocolat
This beloved Wako classic has received a stylish makeover this year. Available for ¥6,480, the reimagined chocolate cake features two types of chocolate cream sandwiched together, now with a sleek top design and a chocolate cream finish to amplify the chocolate experience.
Limited Edition: Premier Chantilly Fraise
With a price of ¥23,760, this luxurious shortcake comprises Hokkaido wheat flour, using wasanbon sugar to ensure a moist texture. It's filled with self-blended whipped cream and premium strawberries, with a hidden layer of custard cream to deliver a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, beautifully adorned with Amaou strawberries and white chocolate decorations representing a snowy landscape.

Chef Ono, a graduate of a culinary school, brings a wealth of experience from acclaimed establishments, including a Michelin-starred venue where he served as the pastry chef. Since 2022, he has been contributing to Wako, advancing to the role of head pastry chef by April 2024.
