Adachi Ward's Manufacturing Excellence on Display
Adachi Ward, located in the northeast part of Tokyo, is renowned as one of the city's leading manufacturing hubs. With a notable number of factories, this area has cultivated a strong reputation for its dedication to creating high-quality products. The "Adachi Brand" initiative aims to recognize and promote the outstanding products and technologies developed by local companies, strengthening both industrial growth and the overall image of the district.
Currently, the Adachi Brand has certified 56 companies across eight different industries, showcasing a diverse array of exceptional products. Among them, 10 renowned companies are set to exhibit at the upcoming 31st Mechanical Element Technology Exhibition in Tokyo from July 1st to July 3rd, 2026, furthering the goal of elevating the profile of Adachi's manufacturing prowess.
Discover the Adachi Brand at the Exhibition
To provide a deeper understanding of the newly certified companies, a special exhibition area featuring a "Presentation Booth" will be set up. Here, attendees can engage in interviews with exhibiting companies, learning about their passionate commitment to manufacturing, the history of their businesses, and their unique technologies or products. This interaction presents a unique opportunity for visitors to delve into the heart of Adachi's manufacturing spirit.
As part of the experience, last year’s YouTube series featuring comedian Jun Shizuru will be screened. Titled "Adachi Brand × Jun Shizuru: Incredible Craftsmanship Revealed," the series introduces viewers to the fascinating behind-the-scenes aspects of local factories and showcases the remarkable techniques employed by artisans. Aimed at making craftsmanship more accessible and entertaining, this series is available on the official YouTube channel, where viewers can enjoy engaging content that highlights the allure of Adachi's manufacturing sector.
In addition to live exhibitions and presentations, visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the creativity and innovation that define Adachi Ward’s manufacturing landscape. This promises to be an enriching experience that celebrates the extraordinary talents and technologies nurtured in this vibrant community.
