Netsys Japan Participates in Tokyo's Job Experience Program for Students

Netsys Japan Takes Part in Tokyo's Job Experience Initiative

On March 6, 2026, Netsys Japan, a company focused on IT solutions in the hospitality sector, engaged in a unique job experience program orchestrated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. This program, known as "Kizuku Job Experience," aims to reveal the appeal of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to students, providing them with early exposure to the corporate world.

Understanding the Kizuku Job Experience

The initiative allows students to choose from seven lifestyle-related themes and participate in job experiences offered by three participating companies. The aim is to nurture students' understanding of businesses and the challenges they face in a practical context. More details can be found at Tokyo's Job Experience Program.

Netsys Japan's Contribution

Netsys Japan joined this initiative with a program focused on revealing the multifaceted roles within the tourism and hospitality industry. The aim was to enhance students' problem-solving skills while deepening their understanding of IT solutions that address real-world challenges in this sector. By adopting the perspective of service providers, participants could explore how to create comfortable lodging experiences and streamline facility operations, all while recognizing the industry's inherent challenges.

A Day at the Program

Theoretical Insights

The day began with a lecture on the current state and challenges of the tourism industry. Students then had the opportunity to engage with some of our total solutions, participating in simulated hotel experiences such as check-in, room access, and check-out using our automatic check-in and check-out machines.

Practical Workshops

In the second half of the program, students tackled case studies based on real client feedback, focused on fictional accommodation facilities. Working in groups, they identified core issues and evaluated potential solutions within specified constraints. Despite the time limits, participants effectively applied the knowledge gained during the lectures to refine their proposals. At the end of the session, attendees presented proposals outlined in detailed implementation processes, showcasing their actionable insights and learnings in a practical environment.

In a friendly atmosphere, the day concluded with a nod to local dining options, facilitating further discussions among students and organizers.

  • - “I never thought much about hotel systems, but experiencing them firsthand made me realize how thoughtfully designed they are. I look forward to observing such systems during my future travels.”
