Michter's Distillery has exciting news for bourbon aficionados: the long-awaited Michter's 10-Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon is set to be shipped from the distillery for the first time since last year this upcoming March. The 2026 edition has already received enthusiastic approval from Michter's Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson.

Dan McKee explains the meticulous selection process for the bourbon: “As barrels mature differently—even those stored side by side—we carefully assess our whiskey and wait over ten years before choosing fully matured barrels for the Michter's 10-Year Bourbon.” He reveals the team is thrilled to have a bourbon that meets their high standards and is ready for market.

The Michter's 10-Year Bourbon boasts an alcohol content of 94.4 proof (47.2% ABV). Its diverse flavor profile reminds us that a high alcohol content isn't necessary for a rich and enjoyable tasting experience.”
