Central Park Introduces V-Point Service in Nagoya
In an exciting development for shopping enthusiasts, Central Park, a popular underground shopping destination located in the heart of Nagoya, Japan, will launch a new V-Point service starting July 1, 2025. This initiative, a collaboration between Central Park, CCCMK Holdings, and Mitsui Sumitomo Card Company, aims to enrich the shopping experience for visitors in the bustling Sakae area.
Central Park is directly connected to Nagoya’s subway system, with links to Sakae Station, Hisaya-odori Station, and Meitetsu Sakae Station. Featuring around 90 diverse stores that cater to fashion, culinary delights, and local goods, the shopping hub has evolved significantly since its renovation in 2020, attracting both local residents and tourists. The introduction of the V-Point service marks the first time such a rewards system has been implemented throughout the entire underground shopping area, enhancing customer benefits while shopping.
How the V-Point Service Works
Beginning in July 2025, shoppers at Central Park will have the opportunity to earn V-Points, which can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. Customers can present their V-Point eligible cards, such as mobile V-Cards or other designated cards at the checkout, allowing them to earn points at a rate of 1 point per every 200 yen spent (including tax). Additionally, when payments are made using Mitsui Sumitomo card, customers can accumulate even more points, maximizing their rewards.
The earmarked points can be used not only within the 74 participating stores at Central Park, where each point equates to 1 yen, but they are also valid at approximately 160,000 partner outlets nationwide and around 100 million Visa merchants around the globe. This makes the V-Point system a versatile option for regular shoppers and travelers alike.
Commitment to Customer Satisfaction
Central Park, along with its partners CCCMK Holdings and Mitsui Sumitomo Card, is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. The V-Point service is an integral part of delivering value to clients while fostering long-term loyalty. As new systems and features are rolled out, Central Park continues to adapt to the needs of its customers through innovative solutions.
