Koichi Wakata will introduce 'KIBO no Tane,' the seeds sent to space as part of the 'KIBO Seed Project,' along with the official mascot of the expo, TunkTunk. The 'Space Sunrise 2026' event will begin at 23:00 on December 31, 2025, and will run until 01:00 on January 1, 2026, exclusively on the official KIBO Space Broadcasting Station’s X account (@KIBO_SPACE) and YouTube channel (@kibo9671). This interactive experience will offer viewers an opportunity to participate in the New Year celebrations alongside astronauts aboard the ISS.
