Alaska Airlines Expands Fresh Meal Options

Alaska Airlines is thrilled to announce that it is expanding its selection of fresh and flavorful meals available on more flights, giving guests what they truly love onboard. Starting from June 4, 2025, Main Cabin passengers flying on short-haul routes, which range from 670 to 774 miles, can now pre-order the airline's Signature Fruit & Cheese Platter, a fan favorite that has delighted travelers for years.

The new meal options represent a significant enhancement in the inflight dining experience, with the Signature Fruit & Cheese Platter being the highlight. This platter includes a delectable assortment of five types of cheese sourced from Washington and Oregon, a selection of apple slices, a handful of grapes, and indulgent chocolate truffles made by Maeve, a chocolatier based in the Pacific Northwest. Nearly 40% of all fresh food sales on Alaska's flights are attributed to this popular platter, underscoring its wide appeal among travelers.

In addition to the Signature Platter, the airline is also introducing the Jetsetter's Jam, featuring smooth cashew butter layered with tart strawberry jam, all encased in flaky croissant bread. This tempting offering will be served alongside fresh fruit and a slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese, providing guests with a distinctive taste experience high above the clouds.
