Indulge in Milan's Culinary Glory at InterContinental Tokyo Bay

Celebrating Milanese Cuisine with an Exquisite Cheese Selection

From January 13, 2026, the InterContinental Tokyo Bay, under the guidance of General Manager Hiroyuki Miyata, invites guests to indulge in a unique Italian dining experience at Zillion. This limited-time menu celebrates Milan's rich culinary heritage through a sumptuous course featuring a variety of Italian cheeses.

A Special Course Featuring Italian Cheeses

Renowned Chef Yohei Abe has masterfully crafted a course that highlights the diverse expressions of Italian cheese, presenting them through a contemporary lens that reflects Northern Italian culinary traditions. As a refreshing start, diners are treated to a cold appetizer of creamy, homemade burrata cheese paired with the tang of seasonal berries—a vibrant introduction to the course.

Homemade Burrata with Berries

For the warm appetizer, guests will enjoy a delightful dish of lamb meatballs infused with the rich aroma of Pecorino cheese, enhancing the natural flavors of the ingredients. The pasta course features ‘Pappardelle with Beef Cheek’, enriched with a generous helping of Parmigiano cheese, while the risotto selection showcases a luxurious saffron risotto paired with sweet, tender langoustines and creamy ricotta cheese—a true taste of Northern Italy.

Fish lovers will appreciate the exquisite harmony of fresh fish and scallops served with Stracchino cheese, balancing creamy textures with a touch of acidity. The main dish features the iconic ‘Milanese Veal Cutlet with Mozzarella,’ a cherished traditional fare once beloved by Milanese aristocrats. This dish is prepared to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender within, served with a rich tomato sauce and mozzarella that captures the essence of Milanese elegance.

To cleanse the palate, guests can savor a refreshing Champagne granita, followed by a delightful dessert—a charmingly petite strawberry Maritozzo that offers a sweet finish to the meal.

Exquisite Pairings from Franciacorta

Completing this culinary journey, two exquisite wines from the region of Franciacorta are offered to enhance the dining experience. The ‘Ca del Bosco’ brut is known for its refined bubbles and rich complexity, perfectly complementing the homemade burrata and Parmigiano cheese. Meanwhile, the rosé from ‘Ferghettina’ features floral and berry notes, beautifully harmonizing with the acidity of the appetizers and seafood dishes. Both wines not only celebrate Milanese cuisine but also add a festive touch to the overall dining experience.

Join us in paying homage to the glorious Milan during this winter food festival and immerse yourself in flavors that transport you to Italy’s culinary heart.
