Eminent Gold Launches Extensive Drilling Program for Exploration at Hot Springs Range
Eminent Gold Launches 10,000 m Drilling Program in Nevada
Eminent Gold Corp., headquartered in Vancouver, has commenced a substantial drilling program at their Hot Springs Range Project (HSRP) located in Humboldt County, Nevada. This marks an exciting development for the company as they mobilize a drill contractor on July 17, 2026, to kick off this comprehensive 10,000-meter reverse circulation (RC) drilling initiative. This new phase of exploration is expected to further define and expand on initial discoveries made in earlier diamond core drilling phases.
The previous phase of exploration revealed promising oxide gold mineralization across four diamond core holes, with one notable intersection reporting a remarkable 9.2 meters grading 3.2 grams per tonne of gold. The ongoing drill program will allow for a broader evaluation of several fault zones situated within the Hot Springs Range structural corridor, which is believed to hold significant untapped potential for gold mineralization.
Objectives of the Drilling Program
In his remarks, Dan McCoy, President and CEO of Eminent Gold, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, "We are excited to resume drilling at the Hot Springs Range Project. Our initial drilling at Otis advanced it from a true grassroots concept to a drilled, new Carlin-style oxide gold mineralized system." The current drilling program aims to verify the extent of gold mineralization previously intersected at Otis and to explore the extensive 3-kilometer-long Eden target.
Eminent's strategy focuses on pursuing gold deposits in a historically rich mining region, where no new Carlin-style trends have emerged in decades. The company is optimistic that successful drilling at both the Otis and Eden targets could unveil a new gold trend that may lead to multiple gold discoveries.
Detailed Drill Plan
The 2026 drill program encompasses a total of 14 RC holes at the Otis target and an initial phase of five RC holes at the Eden target. This systematic approach represents the first comprehensive testing of multiple fault zones throughout the Hot Springs Range structural corridor. At Otis, the drilling will concentrate on four key priority faults, including a renewed investigation of the Otis Fault. Past drilling in this area indicated that drill holes were perhaps close to hitting the main fault plane, and have since returned significant oxide gold mineralization.
The geophysical data has been reassessed, allowing the company to adjust drill pads for more effective exploration at various depths. Continued drilling along the Little Humboldt Fault, where notable gold intervals were recorded, will also take place.
The Eden target will be tested with three strategic holes beneath a significant gold-in-soil anomaly. The airborne geophysical data suggest that potential host rocks may mirror those associated with major gold systems in the region.
Future Exploration Plans
Eminent Gold's exploration strategy integrates previous core data with recent geophysical findings, positioning the company as a pioneer in the systematic exploration of the area. The structural corridor, measuring nearly 10 kilometers, situates approximately 15 kilometers northwest of the renowned Getchell Trend and has geological features consistent with prolific gold-bearing systems.
Beyond the immediate targets, several other prospective areas have been identified along the corridor, showcasing the extensive exploration potential of the Hot Springs Range Project.
The drilling operations are being conducted by Alford Drilling LLC with crews working on continuous shifts to maximize productivity. All necessary drill pads, access roads, and permits have been established since early April, ensuring seamless operations moving forward. Assay results are expected to be released throughout the summer as sampled materials are processed using the PhotonAssay™ system under the company's quality assurance protocols.
This ambitious drilling initiative reflects Eminent Gold’s commitment to uncovering significant gold resources in an area ripe for discovery. Investors and stakeholders eagerly await the results from this extensive exploration effort, which holds the potential for transformative growth in the company’s portfolio of gold assets.
