The Uomai Tsuruya restaurant, run by Genki Global Dining Concepts, is thrilled to announce its first anniversary celebration. Located in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, the restaurant will host a spectacular tuna cutting show on March 28, 2026. This event is dedicated to thanking our customers for their loyal support over the past year.

Event Details

Starting at 10:00 AM on March 28th, expert chefs will showcase their remarkable skills by cutting a tuna that weighs over 100 kg right before the audience's eyes. This rare opportunity allows guests to experience the artistry involved in the process and enjoy the freshest sushi made from the very tuna they watched being cut.

Following the show, exclusive menu items featuring freshly cut tuna will be available for purchase.

Fresh Bluefin Tuna Akami - 1 piece for 100 yen (tax included: 110 yen)
Fresh Bluefin Tuna Chutoro - 2 pieces for 280 yen (tax included: 308 yen)
Fresh Bluefin Tuna Otoro - 1 piece for 280 yen (tax included: 308 yen)
Midriff Tuna Mini Bowl - 300 yen (tax included: 330 yen)
* Toro-Taku Nori Wrap - 200 yen (tax included: 220 yen)

All of these items are limited, made from the freshly prepared tuna, and will only be available on March 28th and 29th, 2026. Once quantities run out, sales will cease. As an added bonus, from 4:00 PM on the 28th, guests can also enjoy fresh tuna at nearby participating locations.
