A Year of Transformation

The past year has seen substantial progress in the renovation and revitalization of the Higaki Dormitory under the Whole Atelier Project. Local residents, enthusiastic volunteers, and organizations involved in the public-private-academia-finance collaboration have come together to refurbish this historic site. Employees with electrical qualifications from Open House Group have partnered with students from the University of Tokyo’s Urban Design Laboratory to install lighting and electric outlets, making the space ready for creative use.
