Reolink Unveils Cutting-Edge 16MP Wi-Fi Camera Series at CES 2025

Reolink Launches the Duo 3 WiFi Camera and Altas Series at CES 2025

At CES 2025, Reolink, a trailblazer in home security, introduced a series of advanced products aimed at revolutionizing surveillance technology. The highlight is the Duo 3 WiFi camera, a state-of-the-art device featuring 16MP UHD resolution and an expansive 180° panoramic view. This camera is a part of Reolink's celebrated 16MP series, showcasing their ongoing commitment to enhancing home safety through innovative solutions.

The Duo 3 WiFi Camera: Superior Surveillance

The Duo 3 WiFi addresses common issues like blurry images, blind spots, and slow streaming. Equipped with dual 4K sensors, this camera ensures outstanding clarity and can zoom in on distant objects, such as license plates. Its advanced image stitching capabilities allow it to merge two images into one with minimal distortion, enabling comprehensive coverage of an area.

Furthermore, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6, thus ensuring faster and more stable connections across both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. Users will appreciate the Motion Track feature, condensing 15 seconds of motion into a single image, making it easier to review significant events without sifting through lengthy video footage.

The Duo 3 WiFi camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor surveillance, making it ideal for large properties, expansive parking lots, and more. It is available for purchase at an MSRP of $179.99 in North America and €189.99 in Europe via the Reolink website and Amazon.

Introducing the Altas Series: Continuous Protection

In addition to the Duo 3, Reolink announced the launch of the Altas Series, focusing on battery-powered cameras capable of 24/7 continuous recording on a single charge. This innovative lineup includes the bullet-style 2K Altas, compatible with WiFi, alongside the 4G battery camera Altas Go PT, featuring a 360° blindspot-free view.

Last September, Reolink unveiled the Altas PT Ultra, a 4K camera noted for its extended continuous recording capabilities. Now, the Altas Series expands upon this concept, utilizing a 20,000 mAh battery to deliver up to seven days of uninterrupted recording, thanks to cutting-edge low energy consumption technology. When used with a solar panel, these cameras can sustain around-the-clock operations without the hassle of manual recharging.

The cameras also take advantage of a new generation system-on-chip (SoC), which enables them to capture 10 seconds of footage prior to detecting motion events through pre-recording functionality. The integration of Reolink's ColorX technology ensures vivid, full-color images day and night, offering four times more light than traditional infrared cameras.
