The much-anticipated 2024 PHBS-CJBS Global Pitch Competition concluded on December 5, 2024, at the Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) in Shenzhen, China. This esteemed competition, jointly organized by PHBS and the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS), saw participation from numerous innovative startups from around the globe.
A Spirited Competition
Starting in January, the contest attracted a staggering 506 startup projects worldwide. After thorough evaluations and preliminary rounds, 36 projects advanced to the semifinals, and eventually, 10 finalists competed for top honors during the grand finale. This year's competition highlighted groundbreaking innovations in artificial intelligence, new materials, and biotechnology.
Winners Galore
The competition concluded with remarkable achievements from various startups. The third-place winners included Daosheng Biological (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, BrainThink, YUANWEISHIJIE, Synphage, SIPIMO Technology Group, and Zhiwei Data.
