Indulge in Autumn Delights with Royal Host's Maron Dessert Selection

Royal Host's Maron Dessert Selection

The arrival of autumn heralds the return of cherished seasonal flavors, and Royal Host is set to tantalize taste buds with the launch of its exclusive MARRON DESSERT SELECTION: Experience the Marriages of Flavors on September 17, 2025. This year marks the ninth edition of their celebrated Maron Dessert, meticulously crafted to celebrate the sweet and earthy essences of chestnuts.

A Celebration of Flavors

The talented pastry chefs at Royal Host have curated four unique parfaits, each designed to highlight the versatile flavors of marron (chestnut). With the theme of “SELECTION,” these creations promise a delightful taste experience from the first spoonful to the last. Customers can select a parfait based on their mood, making it suitable for any occasion.

Signature Creations:

  • - Foret Noire Maron Parfait: This luxurious concoction features the bittersweet notes of chocolate, complemented by bitter marron (chestnuts) and a rich array of textures. With layers of cocoa sponge, whipped cream, cherries, and chocolate ice cream, it offers an indulgent experience that evokes the exquisite balanced flavors of the famed Black Forest cakes.

  • - Amber Marron Brulee Parfait: This sophisticated parfait consists of caramelized amber marron, smooth cream brulee, bitter marron, and a lovely touch of jasmine tea jelly for a refreshing finish. It melds rich and sweet flavors into one harmonious treat.

  • - Japanese Marron and Kinako Parfait: This parfait showcases a blend of bitter marron, kinako (roasted soybean flour), and kuromitsu (black syrup), melding traditional Japanese elements with a hint of Western flair through cocoa sponge and pie layers. This creation offers an intriguing twist on the classic mont blanc style, garnished with a rich kuromitsu drizzle for added sweetness.

  • - Seasonal Petit Dessert Set: For a lighter option, the Petit Mont Blanc and Pistachio Parfait is a delightful choice. Perfectly portioned, this treat combines rich marron cream with the nutty goodness of pistachio, delivering satisfaction in a petite size.

Elevating Your Experience

In addition to the desserts, Royal Host is introducing a special TEARTH tea pairing experience. Select from over ten types of tea that harmoniously enhance the flavors of the marron desserts, heightening your dining experience.

To make your visit even more memorable, the coaster accompanying this season’s dessert features an exquisite design by artist Kanta Wajima from the Kanazawa Art Studio, portraying the “Cosmos,” a symbol of autumn that embodies abundance and beauty. This collaboration aims to enrich the dining experience by turning dessert time into a “small art museum on your plate.”
