Course Offerings

1. micro:bit Scratch Course

Participants will explore programming using the educational microcontroller board, micro:bit, as a game controller. This course focuses on visual programming via Scratch, a user-friendly tool for children. Students will create an original battle game where they must rescue a princess while navigating dungeons. We recommend the Scratch course for younger learners and the Unity course for older students and middle schoolers.

2. micro:bit Unity Course

This course employs the micro:bit alongside Unity, a game engine used in popular games like Pokémon Go. Students will create a catching game where they must stack falling objects on a wobbling plate. They will learn the handling of tilt and button inputs while programming in C#, giving them a real taste of coding.

3. Original Clock Course

Using the mini microcontroller, Studuino mini, participants will have the chance to build their own digital clock. This course offers kids a chance to understand how everyday gadgets work through programming and hands-on activities. Designed for children from elementary school to middle school, the clock-building experience guarantees a fun and educational outing.

4. Mini Car Course

Combining the micro:bit with Arduino-compatible components, this course enables students to create a programmable, self-driving car. They will assemble motors, gears, and ultrasonic sensors, learning the ins and outs of obstacle avoidance programming. It’s an experiential course focused on practical electronics and programming skills.

5. Guitar Course

Participants will use the micro:bit and accessible electronic components to create their very own sound-producing guitar. They'll construct the body from cardboard, integrating aluminum tape and resistors to discover how different touch positions alter sound pitches. Combining electronics, music, and programming, this course ensures a captivating and comprehensive learning experience.
