The New School Event: Revolutionizing Recruitment Communication with Panasonic Group

The New School Event: Redefining Recruitment Communication

On August 21, No Company will host an insightful event aimed at HR and recruitment professionals in Osaka, focusing on innovative recruitment communications strategies. The event will feature Takumi Sasaki, the head of the Panasonic Group's Recruitment Branding Unit, who will share his expertise in adapting recruitment approaches to meet the evolving needs of both job seekers and employers.

In an era where job hunting has become prolonged and student values have diversified, companies must reconsider how they communicate their recruiting narratives. The traditional query of "where do you work?" has shifted to "how do you work?" This change necessitates a more profound articulation of a company’s intrinsic value beyond just the surface-level aspects of “work-life balance.”

During the fourth session of The New School, Sasaki will delve deep into Panasonic's overarching recruitment branding efforts. The company has redesigned slogans across its eight group companies, encapsulating their ethos with the message: "Work sincerely for someone’s happiness." This message has been consistently disseminated across various channels including social media, recruitment websites, advertisements, brochures, and internal communications. The results of this cohesive communication approach are evident: an increase in direct traffic through named searches, resulting in a substantial boost in applications via the company’s website.

A pivotal shift in perspective has also taken place—recruitment is no longer seen solely as public relations; it has evolved to encompass experience crafting. This transformation has paved the way for a branding strategy based on the idea of 'corporate identity equals style.' Such an approach raises critical questions:
  • - What constitutes an effective design that resonates with individuals fitting the corporate culture?
  • - How does focusing on "meaningful work" lead to an increase in applications?

Participants can expect to gain actionable insights into the implementation of a 'style-driven' branding framework, along with specific methodologies that will enhance their recruitment marketing strategies.

Additional Guest Announcement

In an exciting update, Koudai Teraguchi, an Evangelist from One Career, will also be joining the event. He will share current trends and shifts in recruitment marketing, based on extensive data on students and job seekers accumulated by One Career. This addition ensures an even more comprehensive agenda for attendees.

This event serves as a precursor to the larger conference, 'Recruitment Ultra Camp,' which is set to take place in October, organized by One Career. Those interested are encouraged to check out the event’s details on their website.
