Brian Comiskey, CTA’s senior director of innovation and trends. Comiskey detailed how advancements in technology, especially AI, are significantly influencing various industries. Specifically, he shared notable findings from a recent
AI Awareness Survey across several European nations:
- - UK workers lead in both AI awareness and practical usage, reportedly saving around eight hours weekly thanks to automation.
- - A staggering 89% of German workers view generative AI as extremely or very helpful in executing job-related tasks, highlighting a predominance for content creation over task automation.
- - Among young workers aged 18-28 in the Netherlands, 66% actively utilize generative AI, making them the highest users compared to their European peers.
- - France showcased the highest generative AI awareness among older workers aged 61-79, with 98% acknowledging its existence, although only 37% reported using it.
