Seizu Corporation's Achievements in SW Construction
Seizu Corporation, based in Katsushika, Tokyo, has made waves in the construction industry by being awarded the top honor at the 2025 Super Wall Annual Conference held on August 29 at Bunkyo Civic Hall in Bunkyo, Tokyo. This prestigious event recognized companies contributing to the Super Wall (SW) method, and Seizu stood out as the only company among approximately 500 members to achieve a cumulative total of 700 completed constructions. Remarkably, this marks the tenth consecutive year that Seizu has secured the title of the highest number of constructions across Japan.
The award presentation highlighted the proud moment for Seizu, with Tatsuya Oikawa, President of Seizu Corporation, accepting the shield and accolades on behalf of the team. Among the accolades received were the Maximum Construction Number Award, the Three Consecutive Growth Award, a recognition for achieving 700 total constructions, and second place in the S Group Competition.
What Is the SW Method?
The SW Method, developed by LIXIL Corporation, is a housing construction approach characterized by high airtightness, high insulation, and high seismic resistance, all based on a wooden frame methodology. This construction method features a monocoque structure that integrates high-performance panels to provide resilience against natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons. The careful design minimizes the temperature differences within the house, ensuring a climate-controlled environment supported by a planned ventilation system to maintain clean air, thus leading to a healthy and comfortable living experience.
In addition to adopting the SW method, Seizu houses incorporate the hybrid water heater
