Amy's Kitchen Expands Distribution with Costco
In a significant expansion,
Amy's Kitchen, the family-owned brand renowned for its organic prepared foods, is embarking on a new journey with Costco. The company is introducing its beloved
Cheese Enchiladas and
Bean & Cheese Burritos to over 150 Costco warehouses located in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and Texas, targeting millions of members who crave healthy eating options. This marks a pivotal moment in Amy's history, as it engages with one of America’s most trusted retailers.
An Organic Focus for All
For over 40 years, Amy's Kitchen has built a solid reputation by adhering to the belief that convenient meals can be both nutritious and delicious, made from the same high-quality organic ingredients one would use at home. Today, the brand boasts an impressive range of over 150 organic frozen and packaged food varieties, readily available in over 55,000 stores across 11 countries. The demand for organic food is evident, with data from the
Organic Trade Association indicating that U.S. organic sales reached a staggering
$76.6 billion in 2025, growing at a rate that outpaces total food sales.
Paul Schiefer, President of Amy's Kitchen, expressed enthusiasm about this expansion. He stated, “Consumers want organic options that combine both quality and value. Our Costco partnership is tailored to meet this growing demand.” He emphasized that organic meals can easily fit into daily life, and making them more accessible is a proud milestone for the brand.

Our expansion highlights both the growth of the organic category and Amy's dedication to consumers who prioritize the origins of their food.”

With a growing trend toward convenience combined with quality ingredients, the frozen food aisle is emerging as a key player in healthy daily eating habits for consumers.
